The Reggio Emilia Approach® is an educational approach for young children that values your child as a capable and curious learner. It focuses on creating a supportive and stimulating environment where your child can explore, experiment, and express themselves through the arts.
Teachers in our Reggio Emilia program work closely with you and your child, encouraging them to be confident and creative problem-solvers.
Our democratic approach means we discuss what interests the child and set learning goals based on their current abilities. While our educators remain informed about federal and state education standards. We do not believe in forced timelines and standardized expectations. However, we have found that when you facilitate learning by listening to the child they often surpass standard expectations.
Our school day starts at 8:30am and ends at 3:30pm. Early and late care options are from 7:30am – 5:00pm
Our maximum student to teacher ratios are 4:1 for infants, 8:1 for toddlers, and 10:1 for pre-school and pre-K.
Our Respectful Infant Care Center is for ages 4 months – 18 months. Our Sparks Class consists of children ages 18 months to 3 years, and our Dreamer Class is for children ages 3 – 5 years. Depending on enrollments, we may have a Sparks Plus class for those children between ages 2 and 3 years.
